(500) Days Of Summer is not a love story, and the sooner you realize that the better. Tom Hansan meets Summer Finn and falls for her almost immediately. This story will resonate with a lot of us because many have experienced this in some form. In the relationship you have someone who is madly in love & another one who is just enjoying the ride. Oddly enough its the guy who falls hard in this story and Joseph Gordon Levitt does a great job playing the guy head-over-heels. Zooey Deschanel plays Summer and does an amazing job portraying the carefree girl who is running away from anything that can tie her down. The two actors have amazing chemistry on camera & they are supported by a very funny cast, especially Chole Moretz, who plays Tom’s younger sister & seems to know more than Tom about relationships, despite her age. The movie has a nonlinear plot, jumping from various days within the 500 of the two’s relationship. Scenes like Tom’s Expectation Vs. Reality and the scene directly after the two hook up are standouts.I loved this movie so much I even bought the soundtrack, which is also really good. This is easily one of my favorite movies ever and I suggest all of you watch it
