1.) Confessions – Usher
Before coming up with this list I went back and listened to all of these albums to make sure I was set with the list. After listening to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill I was convinced that would be the number one album. Then I listened to confessions… WOOOF. This album is pure fire. The album opens with ‘Throwback’ that had everybody sick texting their exes. Then you jump into the albums namesake confession; another classic. But don’t let that fool you into thinking the album is top heavy. With joints like Burn, Caught up, Superstar, That’s What It’s Made For. This album made the decision for the number one R&B spot pretty easy.
