Part 4 – Love: Loving Yourself Vs. Loving Others (By: @Keem0Therapy)

Love: Loving Yourself Vs. Loving Others

Alright I’ma start this one off by saying everybody gets lonely at some point in time. Sh*t, I mean even Akon made a song about it. But looking for love is probably the absolute worst thing you could do and here’s why: The minute you start looking for love you lost. I’ve seen it happen so many times, people from both sexes talking about “All I need is a man or a girl…” NO! The problem with looking for love is that you’ll always settle for anything that slightly resembles it and once you’ve done that you’re setting yourself not only for failure, but also to be miserable after things don’t work out … and trust me, it won’t. As cliche as it sounds, the key really is to love yourself. Once you focus on improving your own flaws and bettering yourself, you make yourself more attractive to everybody else and don’t end up settling. If you feel like your life is incomplete without that special person, you’re putting way too much pressure on them and could end up pushing them away even if they are the “right” person for you.

Moral of the story is on those lonely nights just suck it up and you’ll be aight. Sometimes the best way to find something is to not look for it.
