Last night, Queen Bey and of course her #BeyHive broke the internet – again!
Beyonce debuted her visual album ‘Lemonade’ with an HBO special and shortly after that it was released on Tidal. Not only did Mrs. Carter demand attention as she publicly let us in on martial strife singing wholeheartedly as her costumes spoke for themselves.
Modern-day Sasha Fierce? This southern belle takes a huge turn in music, fashion and everything dealing with the African American culture. Whether you like it or love it, this ultimately works for Bey due to her roots and the timing for this video/album was deliberately perfect. Beyonce’s character is completely distorted in this visual. From wrecking vintage Cadillac Eldorado’s with a baseball bat in a Roberto Cavalli mustard ruffled gown to a woman completely scorned walking down a hallway in a Victorian-style dress by Peter Dundas AW16 collection.
All these looks get an A+ from me. My favorite just happens to be featured in the Formation video when Bey wore a floor-length Hood By Air fur coat, YEEZY sports bra with matching leggings and Sankofa necklace. Now you can go see all of this for yourself on Jay-Z’s platform, Tidal.
