Cardi B Be Winning

Bitch! I will be the first to say that I strongly disliked everything about Cardi B. She debuted on Love and Hip Hop with some messed up teeth and a ghetto vernacular that only New York hoodboogers seemed to understand. I am telling you that she was far from my favorite. I do not like when women dumb themselves down to fit a stereotype. And that is exactly what Cardi B did. I could not bring myself to listen to the music of someone who did not seem to know when it was an appropriate time to stick out their tongue. Now that she has a song entitled “Lick” it is slightly appropriate.

I realized just how meticulous and greatly executed her success has been, her #GlowUp is iconic, and far from what I expected from her. She is steady winning. She is the ultimate Transformation Tuesdays, not just because of her looks, fixing them choppers, but also the way she has secured that bag. She has been making some great decisions lately, acting on Being Mary Jane, dating one of the Migos’s (no idea of their names), and spitting fuego on beats. She was also recognized for being a strong female MC when Remy Ma brought her on stage with the likes of Queen Latifah and Lil Kim. Cardi B received a loving Instagram message from one of my favorite actresses, minus Empire, Teraji P. Henson, who shouted her out about how great she has been doing. She is receiving her blessings and not looking to anyone for approval and I can respect her hustle. Keep on winning sis!
