Spotify is the best $10 I spend every month. Damn near every song I want is on there. I’ve discovered tracks, artists and entire genres while digging through its digital library. I first heard complaints from Lupe, that artists earn less then a penny for every time a song is played by a fan. I completely understand why Jay-Z and his rich friends are frustrated with that, and why they created their own streaming service. Jay & Co. are going to do everything they can to get us to leave Spotify. Free tickets, exclusive content, and potentially, new albums? All this to get us to join. Here are 4 things Jay can do to make me start my Tidal subscription.
